Difference between Canada's TFWP(Temporary Foreign Worker Program) and IMP (International Mobility Program).
Foreign nationals can work & settle in Canada through these two programs, but they differ in many ways.
TFWP: Led by ESDC, but jointly run by ESDC and IRCC
IMP: Led and administered solely by IRCC
TFWP: Requires employers to submit an LMIA application.
IMP: Is LMIA-exempt.
TFWP: Work permits in this program are employer-specific.
IMP: IMP work permits can be either employer-specific or open.
