Princeton University's DeCenter - the Center for the Decentralization of Power through Blockchain Techology - convened a participant-driven discussion among 50+ thought leaders in technology, applications, decentralization, policy, government, and academia to explore pressing issues around the applications, societal impact, and design of blockchain technologies.
The goals of the Nov. 30 kickoff were to foster a candid and balanced discussion of potential opportunities and pitfalls, and to help frame the key research, application, policy, and technology questions that should drive the work of the DeCenter and its partners.
Speakers are Prof. JP Singh, Princeton Engineering Dean Andrea Goldsmith, Princeton President Christopher Eisgruber, and Rostin Benham, chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
