Creative Technology's founder Sim Wong Hoo dies

The Singaporean behind the famous Sound Blaster sound cards has died. Sim Wong Hoo, who founded pioneering local tech company Creative Technology in 1981, died on Jan 4 at the age of 67. More than 100 mourners turned up to pay their respects to Mr Sim on Jan 5. Friends and relatives of Mr Sim were among those who attended the wake in the evening.
