Creating a human centric environment as a leader (with Dr. Roberto Ponticelli)

Published
In this episode of Shift - I chat with Dr. Roberto Ponticelli - a brilliant engineer and coach, focusing on creating better work places with human centric leadership. We discuss the importance of human skills for all levels in an organization, but particularly for leaders, as well as how can we create working environment where people can thrive and feel empowered to perform at their best.

About Dr. Roberto: he has been developing high-tech for more than three decades. He comes from background in Electronics Engineering with PhD in Robotics Systems, a certified Operations Manager, and a qualified Coach. He is also a son, a father, a friend, and an entrepreneur. He considers himself just a human with a story of feelings, dreams, and struggles like you. His purpose is to contribute to a thriving human society where value creation and wellbeing go together.
His mission is to improve people’s lives by creating better workplaces, empowering leaders to build a human-centric culture that seeks to create value for every stakeholder.

As a leader, he would tell you he'd been wrong a thousand times! But he has learned from every mistake. His expertise doesn’t make him always be right, and he is willing to be wrong and rethink on his way to being useful. The most important lesson he has learned during his journey is that people aren’t broken or lazy. We can thrive when the culture around us is right. He shares these ideas with conscious leaders who use their privileges to develop and empower their people.
