Creating a Culture of Support and Well-being

Published
Historically, organizations have addressed mental health and illness in the workplace by responding to workplace incidents with restrictive policies that hinder or worsen conditions for employees. Mental Health America (MHA) aims to shift the paradigm by focusing on workplace policies, practices, and programs rooted in prevention and early intervention and holistically supports workers’ mental health and well-being.

MHA developed its Workplace Mental Health Toolkit: Creating a Culture of Support and Well-being to help organizations contribute to a mentally healthy workforce by providing leadership, human resources, people managers, and employees with public education and other resources that can be used to improve workplace culture and benefits that support mental health. Join MHA on Oct. 19 for the one- hour live presentation, “Creating a Culture of Support and Well-being,” for a toolkit overview and brief discussion with Walgreens’ Global CHRO Holly May.
