Casual worker increase ‘another fact’ Albanese ‘did not get right’

Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood has shut down Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese’s claims that the workforce is becoming more casualised, saying it is simply “not true”.

“Under this current government the number of casual workers has actually declined, not increased,” Mr Greenwood told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.

"The real increase of casual workers happened again under a Labor government."

Mr Greenwood added that many workers also deliberately work as casual labourers so they can “pick and choose their own hours.”
