A number of California legislatures are pushing for universal health care system, in which everyone will be insured and the whole health care system will operate under the state government.

The proponents of this bill argue that it will become cheaper and more accessible. However, the critics of the bill are concerned the service will become DMV with ration care, and create a significant tax increases for businesses, which will cause more business leaving California.

My guest today is Sally Pipes, president and CEO, and Thomas Smith Fellow in Heath Care Policy at the Pacific Research Institute.
