Ammar Younas taught a course on “Business Ethics, Sustainability and Responsibility" at the MDIST Uzbekistan for the external degree program of the University of Sunderland UK.
The name of the textbook was Business ethics: Managing Corporate Citizenship and Sustainability in the Age of Globalization by Andrew Crane and others published by OXFORD University Press.
This module provided an important core element of the undergraduate degree offered by the MDIST. Its purpose is to explore the various issues and dilemmas facing businesses across the globe today in an era when increasing numbers of people, governments and media expect them to demonstrate responsible actions and good behavior. It will review key values that shape our thinking and it will examine whether these can apply to businesses and how. It will consider the range of moral issues firms face today, particularly noting the diversity of business environments they face today across the world, and highlight some of the dilemmas they experience when doing business in these different international contexts.
