The CBS drama last returned for a new episode earlier this month, but fans will be disappointed to learn the Reagans won’t be back until the start of 2022. Unfortunately, there is still a wait of more than two weeks until the successful crime series is back on screens. Season 12 of Blue Bloods went on its Christmas hiatus almost a fortnight ago, with the latest episode, Firewall, airing Friday, December 10. This case saw Sloane return to the field when a cyber-attack threatens the NYPD. Danny Reagan (played by Donnie Wahlberg) and Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez) assisted the British Commander in tracking down an elusive suspect. Meanwhile, Erin’s (Bridget Moynahan) potential career in politics may have come to a screeching halt as she questions her campaign for office. With things heating up for the Reagans in the middle of Blue Bloods’ 12th season, the series has once again been hit with a frustrating delay. Fans will have been waiting for nearly a whole month before the drama returns to CBS.
