Behind the Pilot - Level 1 Award in Workers' Rights and Labour Exploitation

This video case study provides background information on the pilot undertaken for Skills and Education Group Awards' Level 1 Award in Workers' Rights and Labour Exploitation. The qualification was developed in partnership with the Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority using funding from the Home Office.

Individuals engaged in the pilot included Boston College - a further education college based in Lincolnshire; Double Impact - a charity helping to break the cycle of addiction; Fashion Enter - a social enterprise, providing individuals with skills in the fashion and textiles industry; KINETIC - a social enterprise, that uses youth work methodologies to help young people improve their lives and the WEA - a national charity working in communities across the UK to provide adult education.

The pilot has been evaluated by the University of Nottingham's Rights Lab - the world's largest group of modern slavery researchers.
