Abuse of migrant workers in Qatar alleged ahead of World Cup | ITV News

The eyes of the sporting world will soon turn to Qatar when it hosts the World Cup, in less than 2 weeks.

But many are wondering why no-one seemed to be watching as thousands of migrant workers died in the country, during the years preceding the tournament.

ITV News has heard from the families of victims from Nepal who say they've received nothing after their loved ones perished on construction sites.

Human rights groups say there are widespread bad practices and coverups, and are calling for FIFA and Qatar to set up a compensation fund.
