Rutger Bregman is one of the guests we've been trying to get on Michael's and my podcast On The Way To New Work for years. However, a while back he turned us down with probably the sweetest rejection ever. He would be going on a rather long parental leave, which ended up lasting 5 years.

This year, however, he was featured as a speaker on the main stage of the OMR Festival and we jumped at the chance. LIVE from the OMR bus we recorded a great episode and despite high expectations we both were not disappointed in any way.

Rutger is a historian, journalist and book author and at 34 years old one of the most brilliant minds I had the pleasure to meet. His revolutionary thinking could be experienced at the World Economic Forum in Davos 2019, when his call for fair taxation for the rich and the end of tax avoidance reached over 8 million views on the internet after a few hours. He wasn't invited back, if you asked yourself this question :D
