A good problem is worth a 100 brainstorms | Pratyush Pillai | TEDxSIULavale

Published
Mr. Pratyush Pillai challenged us with the three ingredients we need to design a good problem. He spoke about the need for enabling before motivating, how to select an interesting extreme user and how to be really specific with the behaviour.
At TinkerLabs, along with training students and corporate employees on the methodologies of Behaviour Design and Design Thinking, he has also applied these principles on several interesting problem statements such as Helping TB patients adhere to their 6-month medication regimen, Helping redesign a food delivery company's employee onboarding experience, Helping redesign a global consulting firm's employee referral program. Behaviour Design, for him, is a powerful tool that must be used for good.
"If you understand the frailties and irrationalities of the brain, it's your responsibility to use it to design a better world rather than just to motivate someone to buy something." This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
