Join the Department of Labor for a panel moderated by the Director of the Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs, Christopher J. Godfrey. Panelists will include Prof. John F. Burton, Jr., who served as the Chairman of the National Commission, Emily Spieler, the Edwin W. Hadley Professor of Law at Northeastern University School of Law and former chair of the U.S. Department of Labor Whistleblower Protection Advisory Committee,
and Alan Pierce, workers’ compensation attorney, former president of the Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group and host of Workers Comp Matters.
The panel will consider the legacy of the National Commission and whether the workers’ compensation system is fulfilling its obligation to injured workers.
