2 bodies found in submerged car in Stanislaus River near golf course

Two people reported missing were found dead in a car submerged in the Stanislaus River, authorities said. A Spring Creek Country Club employee found the vehicle near a southeastern part of the golf course on Tuesday, the Ripon Police Department said in a release. The bodies of Stockton resident Xylona Gama and Long Beach resident Alyssa Ros were found in the car, police said.
