United Way of Johnson County is located in Franklin, Indiana, and serves Johnson County residents each year through 17 funded agency partners and 8 direct service programs. United Way of Johnson County is looking for an entry-level social work or human services candidate for the new Program Assistant position. The No Place to Call Home program is the only comprehensive homeless assistance program in Johnson County, serving Johnson County residents who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The Program Assistant will assist with, updating and maintaining of program participant information and files; follow up emails and phone calls to program participants; and completing evaluations with program participants who successfully exit the program. The Program Assistant will work closely with the Impact Director on several other United Way of Johnson County programs, including Operation Bundle Up winter coat collection and distribution , Christmas Angels, Fast Track school supply collections and distribution and Day of Caring largest single day volunteer event in the community. This drives their performance and professional motivations.
