They can be very useful to gather information about companies that are hiring, the roles they are seeking to fill, and the ideal attributes and qualifications of those who fill them. Just like Google, job boards function by typing key words into a search bar and pressing the Enter key—or clicking the Search button—to populate a list of results containing the key words provided. Because very few job boards focus on refugees or newcomers exclusively, the number of applicants for each position may be considerable.
