The pay is bad, worked there 3 years just for them to raise starting pay and now I make a dollar more than brand new hires that I train. Burn out is inevitable, especially w how much we have to still tjx cards and the long holiday hours.

Report Share. Overall good company to work for. Should pay hourly staff more, hard to keep staff with low hourly rates. Raises were not the best even if your metrics were consistently met. For a retail company they are pretty decent to work for.
At first nice It was nice at first because the company actually cared about the employees but it switched, as the company moved forward it took more and more out of employees without giving back. The district manager cared more about her numbers than us people below her. Corporate cared more about its image than actually trying to make things better.
Too much expected from one person. The employees were nice though! Would you recommend working at your company? Help people considering your employer make a good choice. This place is never boring. It is fast paced and busy. I enjoyed working for Tjmaxx but the training is minimal and the raises are small. After the first month or so I was able to work as many hours as I wanted. The associates are very helpful and the atmosphere is enjoyable.
I have never had a problem scheduling a day off and when I had a scheduling conflict the managers were helpful to work with me to find someone to cover. Pros good schedule. Cons short breaks, bas scheduling, management. Started as a cashier in high school and i learned a lot. They were very good about scheduling me especially since i was still in school. The pay was good we got time and a half on Sundays, got an employee discount, and the environment was positive.

I thoroughly enjoyed working here. They respected the days I was available and would always ask if they needed me to stay or possibly switch a day in my schedule.
Coworkers were nice and made the time pass by. Pros Flexibility. Cons Management depending on the person. Not worth the time, the management doesn't have a clue on what to do. I wouldn't recommend anybody to work there unless your desperate. There's other warehouses that pay way more and have it together because they don't. Very disorganized and very poor management.

Coordinators and managers push the credit cards a lot and we don't get any rewards or compensation for it. The job is really flexible with your hours and gives you what you need, which I like a lot. I was on my feet lifting heavy boxes for 8 hours. You do get 2 lunch breaks though so they don't overwork you or nothing. Besides the job being really physically demanding it's also really boring. Pros Nice lunchroom, good money, lots of benefits. Cons The work leaves you exhausted so hard to balance work and life. Good enough job for now, will most likely leave when something better comes along.
There is definitely way to many managers and not enough employees and each one wants things done their way.
