Our programme managers are often from a scientific or medical background. Our communications and design team ensures Sightsavers' work is seen, heard and remembered. The team works on everything from organising celebrity auctions and events to coordinating press trips to Malawi. We work in more than 35 countries around the world, which means we have a lot of logistics to organise.

It takes careful planning to ensure medication, vehicles and equipment reach the right places at the right time. Our policy and advocacy team aims to ensure the voices of people with disabilities are heard, both nationally and globally. This is achieved through direct relationships with policymakers and by mobilising the public. Our fundraising and award-winning supporter care teams engage with members of the public to ensure our frontline staff are able to do their work and change people's lives for the better.
