Enjoy talking with new customers every day. I love to do stock and keeping my store clean and presentable. As well I like to do register when its fairly bussy because it keeps me occupied. Too many times to count that manager would be late sometimes not coming in til 7 or later. Very inconvenient for me, I had kids to take to school by 7am. I quit after several months of working longer than I was scheduled.

Nightshift has extra work and never leaves on time. They only care if your clocked in and, once your on the clock getting the most work out of you as possible.
I've never had any breaks have to be standing for the whole shift. At Circle K a job is never done. There are always things to do, people to talk to, and problems to overcome. I loved what I did and the potentials of what it could lead to, and since I loved my job it came easy to me with my high productive rate and advanced learning abilities I became a valuable asset to the company and with similar desires we co-worked and existed like one.
This would be a long story, but the manager I worked under was lazy, and a "don't blame me for wrong doings" type of person. The other employees were always stressed out with her actions. I took on an assistant management role, learned as much as I could to help, then was told I would never be management due to no drivers licence at that time.

Pros can make up hours. In the beginning of my employment i was dong the graveyard shift, 10pm-8am. I was by myself, handling everything myself. That made me a better worker. I would clean the entire store, mop, weep, wipe counters, clean trays, fresh coffee every 2.
Then I started doing day shifts and morning shifts. I figured I'd finally be able to have breaks and a lunch because I'll have hour shifts. Didn't work that way. Some people took breaks, sat in the office for half an hour or so and left the other person by themselves, but we'd get a write up if we did that. Management was poor. It was a manager that played favorites. The people she favored didn't have to do a lot of things and she didn't enforce the rules on them like she did to others. The hardest part of the job was dealing with people that made the biggest messes and didn't try to pick it up.
