Digital Marketer: Level 3 Apprenticeship


LDN Digital Marketer apprentices develop the skills needed to define, design, build and implement digital campaigns across many different online and social media platforms to drive customer acquisition, customer engagement, and customer retention. A Digital Marketer will typically be working as part of a team, where they will have responsibility for some of the straightforward elements of the overall marketing plan or campaign.

The marketer will be instructed and work towards marketing briefs. Content: Delivered through in-class and digital learning workshops and one-to-one coaching. Individualised learning guided through Litmos content and community support. Digital Marketer apprentices will gain an insight into how marketing works and the impact of it. They will find out why and how markets are so segmented, and how to assess these in order to create and capitalise on marketing opportunities.

Apprentices will understand how to develop and evaluate their own marketing strategies, which they will implement. Apprentices will analyze audience, acquisition and behaviour reports, and set up goals and campaign tracking. They will then understand how data gets collected and processed into readable reports, then learn how to use configurations like custom dimensions, custom metrics, and event tracking to collect data that's specific to your business.

The course will also demonstrate more advanced analysis techniques using segmentation, channel reports, audience reports, and custom reports, as well as marketing strategies like remarketing and Dynamic Remarketing that show ads to customers who have visited your website. Apprentices will know how the compatibility of code changes depending on what platform is used. Learners will investigate how different components work cohesively to make the Web work.

Digital industries apprentices are employed in a wide variety of different organisations in the public, private and voluntary sectors. The primary role of a Digital Marketer is to define, design, build and implement digital campaigns across a variety of online and social media platforms to drive customer acquisition, customer engagement and customer retention. This is a Institute of Technology programme. Employment in a relevant environment for a minimum of 30 hours per week. You will need to have 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English, Maths and a Science or Technology subject, or a relevant Level 2 apprenticeship or other relevant qualifications and experience. A Digital Marketer will typically be working as part of a team; in which they will have responsibility for some of the straightforward elements of the overall marketing plan or campaign. The marketer will work to marketing briefs and instructions. Delivery will be in partnership with employers and adopt a blended approach of on and off-the-job training and professional development. Apprentices will receive training and mentoring in the workplace and knowledge, skills and behaviour development at York College through classroom-based activities. The output is a single grade: Pass, Merit or Distinction for the entire apprenticeship.
