From the offset you will be expected to work and learn side-by-side your mentor inheriting as much knowledge as possible and gaining a great understanding of the requirement to become a plumber. As a higher apprentice you will be given a lot more responsibility which may include managing people or teams or even responsible for managing projects. You will be supported by your employer along side your mentors and tutors making sure to advise and guide you along the way during your apprenticeship programme.

Finding a home
For the first 12 months of your Apprenticeship you will be paid National Minimum wage for Apprenticeship. After this month period you will be paid the minimum wage for your age group. Plumbers install, service and repair water supply, sanitation and heating systems. They also install bathroom suites including showers, toilets and basins. You should be aged 16 or over and ideally already be employed or have secured a work placement, however we may be able to help you with this.
