CDM Caregiving Services is Clark County's oldest and largest provider of in-home care to the elderly and people of all ages with disabilities. We also have a number of charitable programs aimed at addressing isolation and depression as well as providing goods, services, projects, and volunteer efforts to keep our target population in their own home as long as possible. They have such an amazing group of people that work In the cdm office, I am always heard and shown that I am valued and appreciated! I believe that cdm works very hard to make sure both employees and clients are taken care of, even with the craziness surrounding the world today they work very hard to make sure everyone is safe including both the clients and staff.

I have a great relationship with the care coordinators, shelice Lewis goes above and beyond for her clients and I do believe her and the other coordinators I work with different coordinators for the clients I work with and they all are great but 2 Shelice and Trevor are Awesome vary efficient to help for any answers need they get back Quickly and are always there to help the front desk are happy to help and up beat.

One time I had a problem with some shoes that are offered to us as caregivers and even the big boss Eria got in valued to get it resolved how cool is that. They are now requiring the clients to wear masks in their own homes. So upset. I wear my mask everywhere else. They wear their masks they are at work.

This is really just the straw that broke the camels back. They have sent me people who stole from me, people clearly on drugs, homeless people, people with no cars that are supposed to take me to appointments the list is endless.

A new care delivery model CDM designed to promote more equitable care for residents was implemented in a health region in Western Canada. Leaders and managers faced challenges in implementing this model alongside other concurrent changes. This paper explores the question: How did leadership style influence team functioning with the implementation of the CDM? Qualitative data from interviews with leadership personnel directors and managers, residential care coordinators and clinical nurse educators , and direct care staff registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, health care aides, and allied health therapists , working in two different facilities comprise the main sources of data for this study. The findings reveal that leaders with a servant leadership style were better able to create and sustain the conditions to support successful model implementation and higher team functioning, compared to a facility in which the leadership style was less inclusive and proactive, and more resistant to the change.
