Our Chartership Programme has now proudly evolved to include the apprenticeship pathway as a route to professional qualification in either cost management or project management. This route offers individuals the opportunity to gain technical on-the-job training whilst gaining an academic qualification and a professional accreditation with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors RICS. Our apprenticeship programme is open to candidates looking to embark on a Level 6 Apprenticeship post A-levels. Candidates will work towards an undergraduate degree and a professional accreditation at the same time. Our apprenticeship route will also allow you to work towards gaining Associate Membership of the RICS which is a highly regarded professional accreditation and a step towards fully Chartered Membership.

The Chartered Town Planner Apprenticeship is a real job in planning which enable you to work and study at the same time. Successful completion of the apprenticeship will give you professional recognition and status as a qualified planner. The scheme was developed by a group consisting of public and private sector representatives, planning employers, universities and training providers. This apprenticeship has two possible entry points and will typically take years overall, depending on prior qualifications.
You will learn about key areas of planning including sustainable development, planning law and stakeholder engagement. You will also learn how to undertake research, implement planning policy and manage projects. The approved standard and End-Point-Assessment documentation outlines the required planning knowledge, skills and behaviours for the apprenticeship. The programme boasts a dynamic and fast-moving curriculum. It combines thought leaders from the world of policy and practice and real-time projects.
