Scm integration

Conan 1. Just after very productive talks at SwampUp and feedback from the community we got our hands dirty and came up with some useful features in this release. Many advanced users came across the issue of capturing the commit of the repository of the sources in export time when recipe and sources were in the same repo. With the new scm experimental attribute this can be done in an easy way and it could be useful to download sources when recipe and sources are in different repos too. Currently this only supports git as SCM.

The integration scenarios are configured by using extensible Data integrator templates and Microsoft Dataverse to enable the synchronization of business processes.

Standard templates can be used to create custom integration projects, where additional standard and custom columns and tables can be mapped to adjust the integration and meet specific business needs. The first phase of the integration between Field Service and Supply Chain Management is focused on enabling work orders and agreements in Field Service to be invoiced in Supply Chain Management. The supported flow starts in Field Service, where information from work orders is synchronized to Supply Chain Management as sales orders.

In Supply Chain Management, the sales orders are invoiced to generate invoice documents. In addition, the information from Field Service agreement invoices is synchronized to Supply Chain Management. Integrated Supply Chain Management

On the outset, supply chain management SCM and customer relationship management CRM seem like two very different departments, but they actually rely on each other for success. Customer relationship management and supply chain management integration strategies can help you create a more effective workflow. Supply chain management strategies enable companies to ensure the business has the materials, information and financial resources it needs to produce quality goods and services in a timely manner. By coordinating the flow of work from vendors to manufacturers and then from distributors to retailers, effective supply management software and techniques reduce inventory and ensure product availability when required. In contrast, customer relationship management personnel interact with customers to make sure they get the support and services they need. Customer relationship management programs are used to ensure parts and service get to customers when needed after sales are completed by automating business processes used for sales, service and support. For example, at a small veterinary hospital, the supply chain management personnel make sure the veterinarians and technicians have the medical supplies required to conduct routine examinations, perform surgeries and treat medical conditions for clients' animals at the hospital. The veterinary clinic's customer relationship management personnel work with customers to make sure they get the right medications to administer to their animals at home.

An OEM's competitive advantage is highly dependent on this integrated management function. Supply chain management attempts to combine the best of both worlds.
