Nuvance Health offers undergraduate and graduate medical education, including fellowships and internships. Scholars work under the guidance of a research mentor. The program provides an opportunity to work with a senior scientist to learn or improve technical skills. Students obtain a basic understanding of the biomedical research field.

Clinical Internships

Eligibility: Successfully complete HS prior to internship; junior or senior standing; attend mandatory internship informational meeting; and gain approval from internship adviser. Students in both undergraduate and graduate academic programs in the School of Public Health are required to complete an internship as part of their educational requirements to earn their degree. The internship is designed to be a culminating portfolio development and service learning experience for students during their senior year. Through this experience, students will work through three core components of knowledge, action, and reflection that are essential to service learning.

You should then determine where you want to do your internship, at home, during the semester at UE or during the semester at some distant site.
