If you like long hours and no time off this is the job for you. Customers are great If you remove the franchise, 7-Eleven has a great program for training, growth opportunities.. They expect salaried employees to work insane hour work weeks with few days off. The worst training I have ever received for any job, promise of bonuses when hired on, then told later that bonuses are almost impossible to obtain. Terrible training, lack of support and resources. It feels like the company is dead set on expanding faster than they can train and staff locations.

Due to how desperate they are for people, the job security is currently solid, but the opportunity for promotion within is almost nonexistent, at least in my market. Pros Was able to negotiate a high salary. Cons Literally everything else aside from the pay is miserable. The biggest problem is they don't pay their employees enough to care about their job. It is a never endless cycle of hiring more people.

You try to hire enough people so that they have enough hours but then they call in sick, if you don't have any fallback people you end up having to work their shift. The trick is to hire more than enough people to fill in for people that call out but then you always have your people looking for other jobs that pay more or give them more hours.
