They often act as the head of the production department, working closely with other heads of department to ensure the smooth running of the production. We are looking for a Production Manager to work in our development team on a 1 year fixed term contract, overseeing the development process to create the next generation of documentary shows. The team requires production management support across a large and diverse portfolio of ideas. Budgeting, forward planning and often, quick turn-around staffing form a large part of the role.

As an experienced Production Manager you will manage the Development team staffing and budget, oversee taster shoots, and write budgets and schedules for all development ideas.

The role will be involved in working with the full development team to tailor their ideas to fit a tariff and doing revisions of budgets and suggesting changes to hit available funding and delivery deadlines.

You will arrange taster shoots and edit, hiring in kit, complete callsheets, book editors etc. Please indicate your choice under the flexible working question in the application.
