Classroom Training
Registered Apprenticeship is a proven approach for preparing workers for jobs while meeting the needs of business for a highly skilled workforce. Registered Apprentices are sponsored by their employer and therefore typically work during the day and attend school at night. As Registered Apprentice increases skills, they also experience an increase in wages.

Meet Swale apprentice Melissa Edwards
Red Langdon, 18 from Sevenoaks in Kent has started his plumbing apprenticeship this week and is part of a Covid testing programme carried out by Pimlico Plumbers whose headquarters are in central London. The scheme has begun for new plumbing apprentices including Nicholas Green, 18, from Ilford, George Heelas, 19, from Dagenham, and Jack Lucas, 21, from Surbiton who has started an electrical apprenticeship. Any visitors to Pimlico Plumbing including new recruits and interviewees, must produce a negative test before they are allowed to enter the building.
