Those with a good business idea will have the opportunity to pitch to a panel of three "Business Bulldogs" for the chance to win start-up money for their business. She said they often see someone with a great business idea, but getting access to the initial funds needed to get started can be challenging, which is why they decided to partner with Marine Federal Credit Union and the Chamber of Commerce to host the competition. Marine Federal wrote in a release the ideal candidate for this program has not started a business before, but has an idea about the type of business they'd like to create. At least one Onslow resident has already applied for the competition, and is excited about the opportunity.
