The task that was given were manageable and the environment was pleasant. The reason I left was personal had nothing to do with the job, other than that I would have stayed.

Loved the culture, people, and job itself. However, the commission part of the pay is entirely too low and they will not adjust it. You actually ending up selling 40 plus business a month and the commission pay does not show it. Yes No. We collaborate with most departments in the company and coworkers are rude and demanding, as well as ignorant to most of our processes. There is job security, however unless you land in certain departments, there is no room for growth.

If you find yourself in the wrong clique then your career advancement is halted.

Not all departments are treated the same. It's obvious which ones are the chosen departments and which ones aren't. I enjoyed my time at Elavon working as a Chargeback Specialist.

My manger was great and I really felt like part of the team. Collections is already a tough job whether the market is good or bad. With Covid it was almost impossible to meet monthly goals. My job was collecting payment on outstanding invoices for rented credit card processing software. Most of the clients I managed were hotels that industry obviously hit hard by Covid Managing over accounts by myself made the task of contacting all of these accounts seemingly impossible and when most of them are hotels that are clearly behind on their bills, the expectations need to be regulated to a more attainable standard.

Don't apply here. The pay is better than average but it's not worth the stress. Training is minimal. You are not allowed to follow up on things without getting time to do so approved. They don't give enough time when it's approved. Stats are more important than you are. It's a very toxic and stressful environment. Not great! Complete lack of support. Multiple waves of layoffs. These folks buy companies and gut them. They are like the Gordon Gecko of fintech. Watch out. Pros None.

If your manager like you most likely you would get promoted. Pros Nothing is free in that company. Cons Lunch is very short they need to extend at least 1 hour lunch. You basically work alone. Personal time was easy to get. Commission structure wasn't the best, or the worst. Lost all but one of the bank partners I worked with and didn't seem to be replacing them with new partners. Didn't enjoy having to be on daily sales calls.

The company was very good with time off and benefits. I had good bosses. Pros The company had my back when customers were unreasonable. Cons Required lots of travel in my territory. Very tiring. Fun and vibrant office with lots of socials. The pay is good for the work you do but not fuffiling at all. Pros Social. Cons No progression.

If you want to actually show up and do what is expected of you, you will succeed. It is a call center, and at times can be understaffed due to remote work and people not showing up to their shift. The customers are business owners- so for the most part they are just grateful for assistance.

The problem with this job happens when others are just trying to get through the calls instead of assisting, which makes when they have to call back an issue angry customers, mistakes that could have been made easier are 10x harder, etc. Management for the overall part is great- the lack is that there are supposed to be at least 2 managers on "floor support" at all times- but when you reach out to some of them they will ignore you, put themselves as "busy", or tell you to call tier II for assistance instead of trying to help.

Other than that, this is the best job I have ever had. The office environment is nice with the open floor plan. My job was in authorizing card transactions and the job was really quite easy. It was a little repetitive but there were lots of breaks between calls so you could be on your phone or browse the internet while you worked.

Was an okay place to work.
